General-Purpose Industrial Rubber
Our commercial-grade natural rubber sheet represents an economical, versatile solution for general industrial applications. Manufactured from a carefully balanced SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and natural rubber compound, this material delivers reliable performance across a broad spectrum of sealing, gasket, and protective applications.
The formulation provides good resistance to mild organic acids, ketones, aldehydes, and mild detergents, making it suitable for environments where moderate chemical exposure occurs. Whilst not as specialized as neoprene or nitrile compounds, this natural rubber sheet offers excellent value for applications where extreme chemical or oil resistance is not required.
Chemical Resistance Profile
- Good Resistance — Mild organic acids, ketones, aldehydes, mild detergents, mineral oils
- Moderate Resistance — Alcohols, water, dilute alkalis
- Temperature Range — -20°C to +70°C continuous service
- Not Recommended — Strong acids, petroleum oils, aromatic hydrocarbons, ozone exposure
- Alternative Materials — Specify neoprene for oil/weather resistance, nitrile for petroleum oils

Natural rubber sheet can be easily cut, punched, and fabricated using standard workshop tools. Sharp utility knives, die-cutting equipment, and water-jet cutting all produce clean edges. The material bonds well with contact adhesives and can be vulcanized for permanent joints.
